Film Industry Office program of the 12th Odesa International Film Festival has been announced

From August 15 to 20, within the Film Industry Office section of the 12th Odesa International Film Festival, the events will be held for film professionals aimed at supporting and developing Ukrainian film projects and film industry in general, including a program of events: presentations, lectures, programs Works-in-Progress and pitching of film projects, panel discussions, round tables, etc.

On August 15, the Forum of Casting Directors will be held, during which representatives of the film industry will discuss the problematic issues of the industry: from recognition of the profession of Casting Directors to the problems faced by actors. There are Ukrainian and international casting directors, actors, acting coaches and agents among the speakers. This year, the event will be held for the first time off-line with the possibility of personal acquaintances and high-quality networking.

The next day, on August 17, panel discussions from the Film Industry Association of Ukraine (FIAU), as well as presentations from the Ukrainian Female Film Industry (UFI) will be held. In addition, on this day there will be a Public Talk Eurymazh. The Experience of Cooperation with the Fund and discussion on the topic of co-production cooperation.

Networking of film commissions, location managers and tourist destinations is planned for August 18: panel discussions will be held on film themes as the engine of tourism and the development of local locations for foreign production filming. The event is implemented jointly with NTOU, USAID, Association of Film Commissioners International and Ukrainian Motion Picture Association.

On August 19, the Pitching of Ukrainian pre-production feature film projects will take place. Twelve projects are the participants of this year's Pitching.

On August 20, in the final day of the Film Industry Office professional section, will be held the presentations of Work-in-Progress projects, feature films at the final stage of filming or post-production stage, Ukrainian production films and films made in co-production with Ukraine. In total, 10 projects were included in the list of participants. The end of the day will be the awarding ceremony of Film Industry Office winners.
