9th Odesa International Film Festival call for entries opens

The 9th Odesa International Film Festival, which will be held on 13-21 July 2018, starts the selection of films for its competition programs. The online application form can be filled out on the OIFF official website from 14 December 2017 till 10 April 2018

The International competition program allows for participation full-length films of high artistic quality with mass appeal potential (“art-mainstream”) that were completed after January, 1st, 2017. The film participating in the International competition cannot be premiered in Ukraine preceding the Festival.

For participation in the National Competition Program are allowed full-length feature and non-fiction films and short Ukrainian films of all genres, completed after January 1, 2017. We remind you that starting this year, each film chosen for official selection can participate only in one competition programme of the OIFF. Also, starting 2018, the nomination "Best Director's Work" will appear in the National Competition Program of the Odesa Film Festival.

Films eligible for submission for the European Documentary Competition are ones that were produced or co-produced with companies that made the largest investments from such countries as Austria, Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Georgia, Denmark, Estonia, Israel, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Kosovo, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden.

The selection of films for competition programs is carried out by the selection committee.
